Emily, I cannot tell you how adorable Addison is and the photo does her no justice. For an 8 pounder, she has the most delicate features. She is going to take after her daddy and will be mellow. I thank God for this precious grandchild and I am so proud of Brian and Julie. I am simply overwhelmed. Welcome to our family, baby Addison. You are very loved.

Oh, I forgot. Addison Rose Danenhauer was born via c-section February 23 at 6:11 pm at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines (a few blocks from the 2005 Iowa high school wrestling tournament at Vets). She weighed in at 8# 1 oz. and 20 1/2 " long. Addison has lots of dark hair (with ringlets) and deep blue eyes. Mommy is doing well, but very sore. Daddy Brian is awesome and has the diapering down to a science.
